Are you interested in losing weight?  Would having support help you reach this goal?  Join us for our FREE weight support groups.  We’ll have great speakers, door prizes and weigh-ins each session. 
  

Eat, Move, Lose Weight Support Group

Noon-1 p.m. first and third Tuesday of each month

WIC Clinic South, 2433 Regency Road

Free weight-loss support group appropriate for anyone wishing to lose weight or maintain weight loss. Share your struggles and ideas with others.

Exercise Classes at William Wells Brown Community Center

The William Wells Brown Community Center, 548 E. Sixth St., continues to open its doors to the community by hosting a variety of exercise classes through December for adults ages 18 and above. There is also a weight room available to the public from 5-9 p.m. at these times. Free child care for children age 5 and above.

Every Tuesday through December
6-7 p.m.
Low Impact Aerobics

7-8 p.m.
Various specialty fitness classes (includes yoga, healthy cooking classes, weight management support group, boot camp, line dancing, etc)

Every Thursday through December
6-7 p.m.
Zumba

7-8 p.m.
Various specialty fitness classes (includes yoga, healthy cooking classes, weight management support group, boot camp, line dancing, etc)

Change in services: Effective May 20, 2014, we are able to provide childhood vaccinations (must live in Fayette County, be 18 years or younger and be uninsured or underinsured). Limited appointments are available daily Monday-Friday, and appointments can be made up to a week in advance by calling the Public Health Clinic at (859) 288-2483.

Our Public Health Clinic at 650 Newtown Pike is no longer able to see patients for the following programs: adult immunizations/physicals and breast/cervical cancer.
